In this special episode about friendship, Ms. Rachel and friends model important social skills such as kindness, taking turns, sharing, asking a friend to play and helping others. Children learn what a friend is and why it’s important to treat our friends with kindness. Social skills are essential for building relationships, and they also help children succeed academically!
Children will also learn greetings in multiple languages, including Spanish, Arabic, French, Hebrew, Tagalog and ASL. We celebrate the many ways friends can look, play, and communicate, because our differences make us special and we’re better together!
A special guest, Rahaf, a three-year-old from Gaza, joins Ms. Rachel to play and sing.
Additional learning includes colors, letters, numbers, phonics, counting, pretend play, and singing favorite kids songs and original songs.
This is a wonderful episode for all ages. It’s great for toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and even older siblings. It’s a great one to watch with the whole family.
