Description:
The Bogia District Development Authority has allocated one million kina towards the construction of a District Community Development Centre.
Half of this funding has been released to the contractor, who has already started working, whilst the second half payment will be made in due course.
A ground breaking was conducted on Friday to signal the commencement of work on the center.
The Minister for Community Development, Youth and Religion, Wake Goi, was at the district headquarter for the event, accompanied by Madang’s Acting Provincial Administrator, Clement Tare.
