Description:
B-21 raider takeoff
The Northrop Grumman B-21 Raider is the direct evolution of the venerable B-2 Spirit. As America's first 6th-generation stealth aircraft, it retains the classic flying-wing design with no vertical tail surfaces. However, it introduces advanced radar-absorbent materials that are orders of magnitude stealthier and far easier to maintain than the notoriously finicky skin of the older B-2. Additionally, unlike the four-engine B-2, the B-21 utilizes a highly efficient twin-engine layout, powered by derivatives of the Pratt & Whitney F135 engines from the F-35."
