Twelve homes in Mambuan village along the Bogia coastline were destroyed last week due to flooding caused by king tides.
Community leader, Edward Kasailo, said their properties were swept into the ocean.
The villagers are urging the local disaster office to build sea walls to protect them from similar natural disasters in future.
